Street Photography Special Interest Group

37Open Kit Wang 1 A New DayThe Thousand Oaks Photo Group has a special interest group (SIG) in Street Photography. The goals of this group are still rather fluid, but include:

  • Share knowledge and experiences about Street Photography
  • Jointly improve our skills in this activity
  • Potentially plan and go on field trips together

The initial formation idea was a street photography group focused on people on the street, street scenes, architecture at street level, street portraits, and crowds and interesting people at events like street fairs and the like. The idea to to not have just meetings and show pictures, but to get out and do street photography. Whatever the right mix is for the group. Meetings can be wherever the group wants to hold them. Agendas topics for the SIG’s meetings will be developed by the participants over time.

This special interest group is open to all TOPG members.
